Downtown Boston placement is the whole job. Most blocks cannot take a 20 yard can, so we run 10 and 15 yard dumpsters where the driveway is short or the only option is the street. If the dumpster sits on a public street or sidewalk, yes, the city requires a street occupancy permit. On your own driveway or private lot, no permit is needed. Tell us the address when you call and we will confirm which applies before delivery.
What is included in the rental price?
Delivery, pickup and a 14 day rental period, plus the weight allowance for that size. Additional weight is $200 per ton and extra rental days are $10 per day after 14 days. Live load service, where the truck waits while you load, is $125 per hour.
What can I put in the dumpster?

Anything the local transfer station will not accept is prohibited, and we reserve the right to reject a non-compliant load.
